NBTDA ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Each November, the National Bicycle Tour Directors Association hosts its annual conference. This is a yearly opportunity for ride directors to gather for the purposes of professional development, networking, and recreation.

NBTDA Conferences traditionally bring in experts to speak about such subjects as marketing, safety, trends in cycling, tour operations, etc. In addition, plenty of time is set aside for break-out sessions and Q & A.

Each conference begins with our unique Events 101, a primer on the best practices in the operation and promotion of cycling tours. New tour directors and veterans alike attend this annual refresher course dealing with the logistics of managing a bike tour.

The NBTDA Conference moves from location to location each fall. The 2007 conference was held in the bike-friendly village of Lanesboro, Minn. Our 2008 meeting will be take place in Portland, Ore., hosted by Cycle Oregon, Nov. 5-8.

If you are not an NBTDA member, but would like to receive information on our annual conference, contact our executive director, Dave Harrenstein, via our Contact Page.

We look forward to seeing you at our next gathering in Portland, Ore.
